Update

Drake is 6 weeks old today! The big news is we made it to 6 weeks of breastfeeding, something I never thought we would due to his tongue tie as well as the usual frustrations that come with breastfeeding, cluster feeding, long feeds, exhaustion, etc. While I cant say i love breastfeeding still I am happier these days and dont feel like throwing in the towel everyday. Best of all Drake is growing well. At his one month check up he was 8 lbs 11 ozs so over birth weight yay! He is in the 25% for weight and the 75% for height (22.5 inches) Everyday he changes and discovers new things. Its such a joy to see his little face everytime I wake up.

Since then its gotten better Mommy and Daddy arent as incompetent for one thing

Doesnt mean we always love it though


But its getting better

One Month

Drakey is one month old today! Hooray! It means we survived our first month of tongue ties, breastfeeding blues, and endless sleepless nights. Who knows what the next month will bring for us both! Hopefully more sleep and some outside adventures in the sun!

Drake's one month photo shoot

Mommy bought this cute little outfit just for the occasion. The shirt says "Im new here" at the bottom. Minutes after this photo was taken that adorable shirt had poop on it Boo

So we changed and had a few more smiles. Mommy hopes to take Drakey for a walk around the block later today
